I look at the news everyday
Things are always awful in every way
People killing people in every corner of the world
Sometimes I have to stop and say

C What happened to love?
Does it have to be this way
Can’t we find a way to heal these wounds
Can’t love wash them all away

People say it has to be their way
And with them you must agree
It’s their way or the die-way
That’s the only thing they see

People living hopeless, empty lives
They’re just looking for a spark
Kill as many of the others as they can

Why are we killing the world
There was plenty to go around
