Who Do You Want To Be If they knew what you did Would they chase you again If I knew where you hid Could you still be my friend Plan your escape, It’s not too late, can’t you see But who do you want to be? If you want to get free Could you get out of here Would you go to the sea Would it all seem so clear Pack all your things, don’t leave a trace left to see Who do you want to be? CHORUS:– Who do you want to be? Is it hard to see? Can you climb that hill? You can get there if you will You can still change your name It just can’t be the same You can find a new place Where they don’t know your face You can play with the boys, make a new joyful noise – find your key But who do you want to be? You can walk in the sun Take in the sea breeze You can chill in the shade You can fly through the trees You can find a new life that is free from your strife - if you flee But who do you want to be?

One Rainy Day One rainy day as I was walking down the avenue I saw your face as the crowd was coming through And something touched my heart as I looked into your eyes The way it made me feel rather took me by surprise I wondered was there something - you were out to find? Or were you just a happy soul withhold a troubled mind But when I noticed the sweetness of your smile You know it helped me walk, walk that extra mile C. Two clouds just passing by Way up in the darkening sky Times keeps slipping by And I don’t want to cry And as I turned down another soggy street I knew that you and I would probably never meet Now pools of rain were flowing past my feet The hard cold rain was turning into sleet I passed all those windows filled with holiday cheer And that Christmas music trying to get inside my ear But whatever happened to pure empathy and love Then the white flakes started falling, falling from above C. Two clouds…

What Happened To Love I look at the news everyday Things are always awful in every way People killing people in every corner of the world Sometimes I have to stop and say C What happened to love? Does it have to be this way Can’t we find a way to heal these wounds Can’t love wash them all away People say it has to be their way And with them you must agree It’s their way or the die-way That’s the only thing they see People living hopeless, empty lives They’re just looking for a spark Kill as many of the others as they can And become fulfilled in the dark Why are we killing the world There was plenty to go around Poisoning the ocean, the sky and the ground Letting it all slip away

INTO MY FANTASY Five am I had to go to work again I hoped to see a friend Or two… Work was hard I turned and stepped back in the yard And then I dropped by guard And then… She walked in And the room was lit up by her skin And amidst the din I fell… C. Into my Fantasy She meant everything to me She began to lead the way To step into another day - That’s when I began to see She was every part of me And then I think I heard her say Of course I knew she couldn’t stay - How could this be? She was there for everyone to see And when she walked to me I slipped… Into a dream - she walked into a crazy scene And what just had been - was gone That’s when the world turned blue There was something that I had to do And that’s how I knew the way. (Chorus, “Into my fantasy…”)

Nowhere to Be Found You said you’d always be around And that you’d never try to hide You said you’d always hold your ground And that you’d be right by my side Now baby, I’ve been looking for you But you’re nowhere to be found. You were the one I always wanted I didn’t have to change the sound But you left my life so haunted Now I’ve got heartache by the pound I’ve been trying to find you baby But you’re nowhere to be found C. I’ve been searching for you baby From the east to the west They said they saw you down in Cabo And you were very smartly dressed Were you with a handsome man? Babe I thought I was the best I called up all of my friends Asked them if they’d seen your face I just want to make amends But you left without a trace Now my wheels are spinning round But you’re nowhere to be found Please come back to me baby So much left for us to do It would really make me crazy If I can’t spend more time with you Now I’m searchin’ like a hound But you’re nowhere to be found. (Now I’m searchin’ like a hound, baby x 3)

URBAN SOLUTION I wake up in the morning, see the chickens in the yard But I’ve get a yearning for buses and cars Sirens use to howl out my window late at night It’s so quiet here, I can’t sleep tight I want to breath some pollution again I just want another hit - of Urban Solution. I bought a place in the country, but my neighbor claimed my land Came into my yard with a shotgun in his hand I went to court for years, won the place but lost my bread I complained to my lawyer and this is what he said Son, it ain’t in the constitution… You just need another hit of Urban Solution. So I sit up on my hill and watch the valleys and the peaks I hide from the locals and I hide from the freaks I’d rather hit the Westside, dig the chippies and the geeks Gonna move up to a high rise where my roof never leaks I want to make my contribution I just need another hit of Urban Solution. I used to smoke a reefer, hit the streets late at night And dig all the litter and the glitter and the light Well I ain’t had that much fun since I was just a punk in school From time to time I need my urban renewal I want to get my restitution I just need another hit of Urban Solution.

YOU HUG MY FRONT AND STAB MY BACK You think I like you, but I don’t You think I’ll thank you, but I won’t You want to always call me dear You think it’s what I want to hear You list the things you say you lack You hug my front and stab my back. You tell me how you’re always fair Yet your trust is very rare You’re making plans for my demise You’re so creative with your lies You gotta always give me flack You hug my front and stab my back. CH You hug my front and stab my back You’re hoping my resolve will crack Please let me off this spinning wheel I didn’t sign up for this deal. I say that everything ain’t fair Why don’t the people try to share Why’s all the money at the top When will this game begin to stop Why can’t we have the things we lack You hug my front and stab my back. I want to split from this rat race It’s really quite a big disgrace Maybe someday I can stop Or I’ll just work until I drop There is a dream I’d love to reach And one day wake up on a beach. You think I like you, but I don’t You think I’ll thank you, but I won’t You want to always call me dear You think it’s what I want to hear You list the things you say you lack You hug my front and stab my back. I think you’re trains run off the track I think you’re talking kind of whack You don’t know if you’re white or black You always want your money back You hug my front and stab my back!

Baby, What’s Wrong With You You used to be full of “joie de vivre” Now you sit around and moan and grieve You always expecting the very worst That your whole world – is gonna burst. What is wrong you today Why’s your glass just filled half-way You used to smile and hum a tune Now all you see is your impending doom. CH: Baby, baby, What’s Wrong with You? It’s not as bad as you think, Just enjoy the things you do. You used to smile, you used to groove You knew that things would somehow improve Now you think you’re completely sunk ‘Cause your life ain’t an easy slam dunk. Take my advice, take a big deep breath Smile a little, stop thinking “bout death Hey baby, stop being so sad Maybe It’s time to start feeling glad (C) Baby, Baby, What’s Wrong with You? It’s not as bad as you think Just think about the good in you. You say you’re got a positive view Positive there’s nothing that you can do Time to put that smile back on your face Come on back and join the human race! (C) Baby, Baby What’s Wrong With You It’s not as bad as you think Just enjoy the things you do (x3)

Open Up Your Heart I have waited all my life For this moment to arrive I found it’s been there all of the time And when you go there it isn’t a crime C. Just open your heart And let it all start Pretty soon you will see It’s not a mystery I had an epiphany It was a gift to me Try to help those upon your way You will find them every day You’ll know you’ve been there once before And sometimes they just can’t find the door Please let them through it’s the least you can do But you can only try To see if they might fly Can you fly Through the sky? Maybe I’ve always known That you can’t make it all alone But sometimes if you dare It will take you somewhere Open up your heart And let it all start Pretty soon you will see It’s not a mystery I had an epiphany It was a gift to me.

I JUST CAN’T TELL YOU WHY I woke up this morning I had a new idea I woke up this morning Things seemed so clear I wondered how I knew I had a message for you If you listen to the wind And you see the leaves that blow All your troubles will rescind And you’ll finally come to know You can do it if you try I just can’t tell you why Chorus: Sometimes you really need to see (oo-ee)_ That you can be the person - you really hoped to be Bridge: I just can’t tell you not to cry (oh-i) Let your future guide you I just can’t tell you why If you walk out in the rain And you smell the air so sweet You’ll no longer feel your pain You’ll no longer take the heat You’ll want to spread your wings and fly I just can’t tell you why Listen to me Baby It’s a brand new day Put a smile upon your face You’re gonna find your way You can do it if you try I just can’t tell you why Sometimes you really need to see That you can be the person you really hoped to be.
